Mold Resources

These resources can help you identify the mold, control the spread, deal with it safely, and - most importantly - prevent it from affecting your collection in the first place. MuseumPests.net

The mission of the MuseumPests Working Group is to promote and facilitate best practices in pest management for the collections and cultural heritage communities through the development and on-line distribution of training materials and other resources. Since we first shared their website, museumpests.net , it has expanded its resources greatly and has truly become an invaluable resource on preventing, identifying, and mitigating pest infestations of all kinds.

Response Wheel and Field Guide

There is a lot of information available for free on planning for and recovering from disasters, but there are two resources that most of the board members of TX-CERA own and refer to: the Emergency Response & Salvage Wheel ( https://store.culturalheritage.org/site/index.php?app=ecom&ns=prodshow&ref=FAIC-1 ) and the Field Guide to Emergency Response ( https://store.culturalheritage.org/site/index.php?app=ecom&ns=prodshow&ref=FAIC-2 ). These are fantastic resources that deliver their information in a concise, easy-to-follow manner.
